OK, you’ve heard of MySpace. Been there, done that.
In fact it’s become fashionable to make fun of MySpace in favor of Facebook, the flavor-of-the-month social networking site.
Now get ready for MyOuterSpace at http://www.myouterspace.com/.
I kid you not.
Social networking for Star Trek
The force behind this bold new venture is none other than the captain of the Federation Starship Enterprise, Capt. James T. Kirk.
The way MyOuterSpace set up is that you you can sign up to be a citizen of one of six planets or a crew member of five starships. Planet governors and starship captains will be interviewed and approved by William Shatner.

Absolutely! Understand, there is nothing great about any of the social popular networking sites. The tech value is everywhere, and not vest in some POP garbage that people can try to impress there boss with, in hope of holding onto their, J-O-B. Its more, and bigger, but the trick for social media to really blow up in uses is for there to be a value associated, for the people who develop it.

For awhile,I thought i was worried Star Trek was a dying franchise. Then JJ Abrams came along. Great touch. The scene with kid Kirk was a bit too quirky in the movie, even though it was amazing in the trailer. Star Trek XI breathed new life into this favorite Roddenberry universe. I’d like to see all of this Enterprise cast returning for much more outings. I spent my youth with the classic series. Heck, my dad got us a color Television just so we could view Star Trek just about every Friday evening. Currently, I’m stuck on these new characters. In MHO, they have absolutely breathed life into their characters and made them their very own. I, personally, am getting excited about more.
Heh, this whole post gave me a chuckle. Love how you can decide your own faction/ship. Very cool A+

Hilarious post! Didn’t know that Star trek had a social networking site. But it made me reminisce about the old movies of Star Trek that I have seen when I was a kid. Well, good luck Trekkies!
