Kingston just released a mammoth 256GB flash drive for $1100.
At 700MB per movie, you could store a little less than one movie for every day of the year on this.
It reads at 25MB/s and writes at 12MB/s.
It works with Windows (XP/Vista/Windows 7), Linux/Ubuntu, and Mac. But it only offers Kington’s password protection system on Windows. You’d have to encrypt your data separately if you were using Linux or Mac.
This USB drive doesn’t support Vista ReadyBoost.

Wow, very large memory for a flash drive. But it is kinda on the expensive side. I’d rather buy a cheaper version even if it does not have a memory that big. I don’t need that big of a memory anyway.
