Google Chrome

Google Chrome‘s been out for Mac since December, but now they’ve released a new beta version with extensions and other features.

Extensions

You can now install any of the Google Chrome extensions. One that I find handy is FlashBlock.

Bookmark sync

You can synchronize your browser bookmarks among the different computers you use. This works with Google Chrome for Mac, Linux, and Windows.

Task Manager

Sometimes certain web pages make your browser hang. In Google Chrome, that only affects a single tab. You can use the Task Manager to kill specific tabs that are hanging.

Download Google Chrome

Download Chrome for the Mac here.

Congrats to all you Mac users. Chrome rocks, IMO. With some extensions it’s as useful as Firefox ever was, only much faster!

Its much faster, but I have had terrible problems with the new version and with WordPress on my blog causing a “something went wrong” error everytime I try to write a post.
