I’m having a hard time figuring this one out. I think one think I’ve manage to figure out is that WordPress version 2.3.1 didn’t have a difference between tags and categories. Tags were categories were tags.
But in version 2.5.1, there is a difference. For one thing, on each post editing page, there are two, separate textboxes for tags and categories. For another, there’s something called a Category to Tags converter. (Oops, that was also there in 2.3.1 .)
But I still haven’t figured out the difference.
